JENNA’S PRE & POST WORKOUT HAIR TIPS
- Use New Wash in between washes! When you’re working out 5 days a week, it’s easy to feel like you need to be constantly washing your hair, but that will strip your hair of it’s natural (healthy!) oils. This true-cleansing product will help keep your hair hydrated, while also removing the grit & grime.
- Try a new scrunchie or hair tie to decorate your workout pony or bun – these from Amazon (Jenna’s favorite) or the obé hair ties are ideal because they don’t have the elastic rubber band which can actually damage your hair.
- Use a salt spray pre-workout and a texturizing spray post-workout – spritz and tossle your hair with the salt spray and then twist it into a bun. While you’re working out your hair will set and then post-workout you can just take it down, add in some texture and shake it around. Voila perfect, messy beach waves!
JENNA’S GRANOLA BAR RECIPE
3 Tablespoons coconut oil, melted
2/3 cup almond butter (heat to make slightly drippy)
1/3 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups rolled oats
1/3 cup almond flour
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
3/4 cup dried blueberries (or cranberries!)
