obé is a simple and effective program designed to meet you where you are. Follow these 5 tips to ensure you’re making the most of your obé experience.
Strive for 5 classes each week alternating between 3 Define and 2 Sweat. Follow our recommendations below based on your current fitness level and remember - easy does it!
Consistency is everything. Show up often and for each session give us 100% going ALL IN, FULL OUT.
Accountability is key. Schedule your live classes and sync them to your calendar treating them like your most important business meeting. You should also join our private Facebook group.
#LevelUp. Our classes are designed for all levels so adding resistance when you’re body feels strong enough, is a necessary part of leveling up your experience.
No shame in the modification game! Listen to your body and modify each exercise as needed to make sure your form is correct, reducing the risk of strain/injury.
obé signature live and replay classes are 28 minutes and are structured across three pillars: Define, Sweat and Flow. We also have 10 minute Express classes that are great to add on or when you’re short on time.
SWEAT | Cardio based classes
DANCE is follow-along dance cardio designed to elevate your heart rate, enhance your coordination and increase your stamina.
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) takes you through quick, intense cardio bursts followed by short recovery periods, allowing you to burn more fat in less time.
DANCE HIIT combines low intensity movements from our signature dance classes and infuses them with high-intensity circuits from our HIIT workouts.
CIRCUIT moves through three rounds of functional exercises that will quickly get your heart rate up!
DANCE CHOREO classes teach you pop and hip-hop dance routines from some of NYC’s hottest choreographers (45 minutes).
DEFINE | Strength based classes
SCULPT focuses on toning, lengthening and sculpting your body with sequences aimed at fatiguing each muscle group.
PILATES focuses on building core strength and stability.
STRENGTH focuses on full-body dynamic, functional movements.
POWER takes our signature Strength class up a notch with heavier weights.
FLOW | Yoga & Stretch
YOGA is composed of vinyasa flows designed to build heat, loosen your muscles and build strength (45 minutes).
YOGA SCULPT focuses on stretching while also building strength and toning using light hand weights.
RESTORATIVE STRETCH grab a bolster (or pillow/couch cushion), blocks if you have them and allow yourself to unwind.

If you’re new to working out on a regular basis, we recommend lower intensity workouts and Express classes to ease you in. After a few weeks of these classes, you should be ready to hop into our intermediate classes.
