We had the best time catching up with mom, fitness enthusiast, entrepreneur, author and all around boss Hilaria Baldwin during our live Sculpt Class and Coffee Talk with Adam D.!
After sweating it out #foundmoments style (aka getting in a few different Express workouts, which you can do any where and at any time – even while waiting for the pasta water to boil!), we dished on all things motherhood, business, fitness and balance.
SCULPT CLASS WITH HILARIA & ADAM D.
COFFEE TALK WITH HILARIA, ADAM D., MARK & ASH
At work or don’t have time to watch right now? We’ve got you covered. Grab your go-to coffee order, post up on the couch and read some of Hilaria’s can’t-miss tips:
How do you balance personal fitness & wellness with kids (FOUR kids!)?
According to Hilaria, anything is better than nothing. A minute of jumping jacks in the morning, some ab work while watching TV with the kids at night & a few stretches before bed all add up to a full body workout. Hilaria also always listens to her body, modifying or taking rest days when needed.
Momiform is a real thing – what are some of Hilaria’s go-to looks?
It’s always leggings, boots and a sweater/hoodie. Hilaria’s favorite yoga pants are Carbon 38 and she’s been known to ask her husband if it’s “a yoga pants kind of thing or not a yoga pants kind of thing” (we’ll always go with yoga pants). Wearing a uniform you feel comfortable and confident in is so important, especially if you want to sneak some moves in throughout the day.
Favorite snacks for mom and kiddos, while on the go?
- RxBars (favorite flavor: Chocolate Coconut)
- Orgain Protein Drink
- Rice & Quinoa Chips
- Cascadian Farms-Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar
What can women do pre and postnatally to stay in shape?
Once approved by a doctor, Hilaria recommends sticking to the workout regime you already have – slowly start to modify and listen to your body as needed (for instance, go from running to walking!). Staying active is what Hilaria swears by to stay feeling and looking great both before and post baby (and will even help prevent some pregnancy symptoms like swollen feet!).
