What inspired you to join the obé fam?
I decided to join obé after seeing Katie Lee post about it. As a sales rep I finish my work day at home and I would never want to leave again to go work out. obé fit perfectly into my life in the sense that I could finish my work and immediately work out. No trying to convince myself to go back out and get to a class. I am slowly trying to be a morning person and the live workouts are super motivating for this!
What’s your favorite thing about obé?
I love how many options there are! I have tried different classes that I never ever would if I was in a gym (like Power and Dance!). Nobody wants to see me dancing in public, but I’ll do it in my living room – ha! I also love the Facebook group and really feel like it’s a no judgement zone. Even if I’m not posting, I’m reading everyone’s comments and it helps me get motivated!
What are your fitness goals and what motivates you to stick to them?
When I started working out I’d be lying if I didn’t say it was to slim down a little bit. But as I’ve progressed in my fitness journey it’s really about being strong and feeling the best I can. When I started obé I couldn’t even do a plank!! It’s amazing seeing the difference in my strength and seeing results makes me motivated to continue get stronger.
What’s something you’re currently obséssed with?
I am obsessed with cooking (and eating all the food that I cook haha!). I don’t feel bad eating what I want and exploring new foods when I know I can do an obé class to keep me in check! Living in New York there is A LOT of good food.
Which class are we most likely to hear your name?
Any Define Sculpt!
