Sarah Grooms is a native of Columbus, OH. She started dancing at the young age of three when her mother realized how much fun she had in pig tails and pink tutus. In the summer of 2007, Sarah moved to New York City to further pursue a career in dance and fitness. Now entering her twelfth season as a Radio City Rockette, Sarah understands the importance of a healthy lifestyle to maintain longevity not only in this industry but everyday life. After performing in Europe with the Tanzsommer Stars of Tomorrow, she then headed to the Big Apple to perform in numerous television shows such as Saturday Night Live, America’s Got Talent, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Live With Kelly and Ryan, The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Michael Buble’s Christmas Special, Oprah’s 10th Anniversary of “O” Magazine special, Project Runway, Rockefeller Center’s Tree Lighting Ceremony, and The Today Show. Sarah is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. When she’s not performing she’s personal training and teaching group fitness classes throughout the city through her passion project, City Fit Life.
